This was touted as his return to traditional jazz after the short and fruitful 30 years detour to smooth jazz territory with Spyro Gyra. With four original compositions, Tom Schuman also plays classic jazz standards such as: Wayne Shorter's Nefertiti, Thelonious Monk's Ruby and several others.
