""On the Milky Way Express" is an all-acoustic tribute to Wayne Shorter by Rachel Z with her all-female band - bassist Miriam Sullivan and drummer Allison Miller. The album comprises 11 tunes by her mentor, Wayne Shorter, for whom she first worked as a synth programmer on the 1995 album High Life before joining him on tour for the next two years.
