Jay Berliner - Bananas Are Not Created Equal (1972)

Never mind the title, but this is one helluva jazz+funk album released by the versatile guitarist Jay Berliner. This is the only such release he made as most, if not all, of his other solo recordings were in classical guitar categories; the album was originally released in 1972 on Mainstream Records and was reissued in 2007. Other personnel in the session include Paul Griffin (keyboards), Ray Barretto (Congas), Jimmy Johnson (drums), Cornell Dupree (Rhythm Guitar).
