This is a highly qualified band! And indeed with a very good horn section. Well, the whole band is actually very tight when playing the arranged parts of the songs, and they know their solos too.

Apparently from the cover, Gorgazzini is plying the KeyB Duo, a Hammond B-3 clonewheel. It sounds good without a question, but the rotary speaker is a very big part of the Hammond sound, and I have no info about the speaker he is using. Gorgazzini is, by the way, using a clean sound all the time, so anyone looking for that 'dirty' tube overdrive sound will have to look elsewhere.

The recording is of very high quality regarding presence, clarity, etc. My only gripe is that the organ bass is a bit too low in the mix, as is often the case. Yes, I know it's a wellknown fact that it's quite tricky to capture the Hammond tonewheel sound/rotary speaker sound, but they did manage to do it regarding the mid and high, so they could for sure have given the important bass a few more dB. In the song 'Ten' the band has a little different sound, the soundscape is more in the center with a little bit more pronounced bass.

As for my favourite song I choose 'Internos'. It's a minor blues. Runner up will be 'Ten'.

Thanks, and thanks for keeping this eminent and interesting blog up and running!
