Thank you, BeeQ, for your site. Would you be so kind to acquaint us with Lavelle - Soul Piano Vol.2 (2007)?
Thanks beequeen for sharing this record!
I'm enjoyin it very much. It has a nearness and a warm spontaneous live feeling combined with hi quality sound production that makes it very good! All players are great.
My only little gripe is that DeFrancesco has choosen a little bit shrill sounding digital New B-3 or maybe a digital Diversi. It's for sure not an older pre-digital B-3. It's easy to hear this too shrill sound in the higher register (e.g. those first bars in Walkin'). The mid- and the lower/bass register sounds great though.
Anyway, that's just a small detail, that do not take away the greatness of this OneTake record.
Thanks again!
