There are more than enough compilation albums of Roy Ayers' (Best Of, Anthology, Collection, etc.) and they are all issued by various labels; rather confusing at best but at the same time it also reflects Ayers' legacy as one of the more productive musician around.
This Mastercut title release maybe a bit misleading as there are some obvious omission but nonetheless it plugs some gaps as it assembles material from his scarce 1983 LP Lots of Love, a couple from 1999's Juice plus several cuts and remakes from 1992's Double Trouble "Everybody Loves the Sunshine," "Running Away," and "Poo Poo La La,".
